Sit back and enjoy.

While we are in the middle of all of the hustle of the season. Cooking, buying, opening, and visiting fill most of our time. However, remember to take some time to remember what the season is all about. Beyond religion, Christmas is a state of mind, a break from daily living, a time to reflect, a time to spend with family, a time to give thanks and make sure everyone knows how special they are to you and your family.
Enjoy this time, next year will be completely different.
Stop for five minutes, be mindful and enjoy this amazing season. It only comes once a year by date, but you can also make it any day.
Kids grow fast, Santa only exists for a few years, their eyes of wonderment on Christmas morning only comes in fleeting spurts of their lives.

Being mindful: A book I read recently talked about mindfully eating. A man was telling a story to his teacher while eating an orange. The teacher let him finish the story and the orange. The teacher asked after, what did the orange taste like? The man didn't know. For many of us this is a big lesson to be learned about eating, as well as life.

What did Christmas morning look like this morning to you?
