Isabella has been really like music in the car lately.

After Fred ran a 5K race in the morning, we were able to spend some time at the Gahanna Jazz and Rib Fest. We had a great day!

Isabella's Dance Recital

It is almost like Isabella doesn't belong in our house in Gahanna. She acted like that stage was her home!

Yes a day after Isabella's 3rd birthday, she had her first ballet recital. We may be proud parents, but she was great!

Isabella's Birthday Continued

Oh yeah there were chocolate covered marshmallow's as well. Were did we get this idea? Well let's say Barnum & Bailey may have given us the hint.

Yes it's back in style.

You may hear it here first but we are trying to bring the pony birthday party back in style. Isabella and many of the other children loved it!

Isabella's Birthday Cake

This cake and cupcakes are a collaboration of many people and a lot of Nicki's research. The cake was adapted from two different cakes in two different cook books. The Clown Cupcakes came from another book. And the Cotton Candy Cupcakes is a Nicki special flavored with non other than ... cotton candy. I would encourage anyone to get a cookbook from the library and try a few yourself.

Here it is, this is the exact time Charlotte decides to walk more than one or two steps. She was so very excited.
(Side Note: She's walking a lot. There hasn't been a fourth step yet, just a lot of three's.)
